Line and Grade Engineer

About the role

ADNOS CET Corporation is seeking a Line and Grade Engineer to join our team in Parañaque City. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring accurate site surveying, alignment, and elevation control for our construction and infrastructure projects. As a Line and Grade Engineer, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining precise measurements and grade lines that form the foundation of successful project execution. This position is essential to the quality and safety of our construction operations.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain accurate line and grade references using surveying instruments and modern technology
• Conduct site surveys to determine existing conditions and verify design specifications
• Set out construction lines, grades, and levels in accordance with engineering drawings and project specifications
• Collaborate with project management, construction teams, and other engineers to ensure alignment between design intent and on-site execution
• Monitor and verify that all structural elements are constructed to the specified grade and alignment tolerances
• Maintain detailed records of all surveying data, measurements, and as-built information
• Identify and report any discrepancies between design specifications and actual site conditions
• Prepare accurate reports and documentation for project records and quality assurance purposes
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and site regulations during all surveying and measurement activities
• Support quality control inspections and provide technical input during construction phases

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related field
• Professional licensure or certification as a surveyor or line and grade engineer (preferred)
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in line and grade work on construction projects
• Proficiency with surveying instruments and equipment (theodolites, total stations, GPS systems, laser levels)
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints accurately
• Knowledge of relevant Philippine building codes, standards, and regulations
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to precision in measurements and reporting
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Physical fitness for on-site fieldwork in various weather conditions
• Experience with construction management software and digital surveying tools (advantageous)
