Line Cable Technician / Network Cabling Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for skilled and hardworking Line Cable Technicians / Network Cabling Technicians with hands-on experience in structured network cabling, cable dressing, switch installation, patch cord management, jack panel punching and network rack installation. The candidate will be responsible for installing, organizing, terminating, and maintaining network cabling infrastructure to ensure proper connectivity and smooth network operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform network cable laying, routing, dressing and termination.
• Install and configure network switches and related network hardware as per technical requirements.
• Manage patch cords and maintain proper cable organization within network racks.
• Perform punching and termination of network cables on patch panels, keystone jacks, and I/O outlets.
• Install, assemble and organize network racks and cabinets.
• Perform Cat6 and other structured cabling work as required.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic network cabling and connectivity issues.
• Label cables, patch panels, and network ports for easy identification and maintenance.
• Maintain proper cable management, safety standards and workplace cleanliness.
• Coordinate with the IT/network team for installation, testing and maintenance activities.
• Ensure all cabling work is completed according to technical specifications and project timelines.

Eligibility Criteria

• Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred; candidates with practical hands-on experience may also be considered.
• Education: ITI / Diploma / 10th / 12th pass, depending on practical experience and technical skills.
• Candidates must be comfortable with on-site installation and maintenance work.
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates with hands-on experience in commercial offices, IT infrastructure projects, data centers or structured cabling installations.
• Candidates who can independently handle cable dressing, patch panel punching, rack installation and switch installation.
• Good coordination skills, discipline and attention to detail.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
