Line Clearance General Foreman

We are Rancho Tree Service, California’s Leading Utility Vegetation Management, Environmental and Arboriculture Experts. We are currently hiring a roaming General Foreman to support our New Mexico, Texas and Southeastern operations.

This listing is for the position of GENERAL FOREMAN with Rancho Tree Service. We are looking for a General Foreman who can safely and effectively lead crew members to complete projects on time and according to scope. You will be responsible for daily operations at several worksites to ensure the completion of projects safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Scheduling, tracking and reporting daily activities for each crew in span of control
• Engaging with Utility personnel and the general public as necessary
• Tree Risk Assessments and Job Site Safety Assessments to assign properly trained and qualified personnel for each work site
• Communicate resources needed to complete projects to Operations Leadership
• Ensure safe use, storage and handling of tools, equipment and other company resources
• Provide support for daily tailgate Safety meetings
• Collaborate with Safety Department and Leadership to drive safe vegetation management field operations
• Additional Duties as assigned or required by the company or specific Utility partner
• Starts at $75,000 per year full-time salary, $50.00 per day per diem while traveling, a 4x4 company truck with gas card and all lodging provided.

Requirements:

• Bilingual English/Spanish (Preferred)
• ISA Certified Arborist (Preferred)
• OSHA 30 (Preferred)
• TCIA CTSP certification (Preferred)
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a General Foreman
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Utility Line Clearance
• Clean DMV record, CDL-A preferred
