Who We Are

Timbers East is a lively, locally loved neighborhood restaurant in Bend known for great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’re looking for a dependable and experienced daytime line cook to join our hardworking, supportive kitchen team.

The Role

We’re hiring a part-time or full-time line cook for daytime shifts. The ideal candidate works well in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in preparing consistent, high-quality food, and can keep their station organized during busy service. Previous breakfast experience is a big plus.

Pay

Starting at $20 per hour, with strong tip-earning potential and opportunities for advancement.

Requirements

• At least two years of line cook experience preferred
• Breakfast cooking experience is a plus
• Current Oregon Food Handler Card, or ability to obtain one before starting
• Experience working in a fast-paced or high-volume kitchen
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
• Dependable, punctual, organized, and team-oriented
• Comfortable with food preparation, station setup, cooking, and cleaning

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Work daytime and breakfast service as scheduled
• Set up, stock, and maintain an organized station
• Ensure consistency, quality, and attention to detail with every dish
• Follow all food safety and sanitation requirements
• Communicate and collaborate with the kitchen team to keep service running smoothly
• Complete prep and cleaning duties as assigned
