Line Cook

The Restoration Hotel is looking for qualified, energetic individuals to work with us in an exciting environment!

Line Cooks are in charge of cooking food and plating dishes according to the restaurant’s menu specifications. Line Cooks are assigned a specific place in the line, such as the grill or pantry. Duties include preparing food and maintaining sanitation standards.

We are searching for experienced Line Cooks to join our talented team. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. Ultimately, you will play an essential role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and restaurant growth.

Job Duties

• Ensure the preparation station and kitchen are set up and stocked for service.
• Prepare components of each dish on the menu by chopping and cooking vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.
• Make sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.
• Clean prep areas and take care of leftovers.
• Stock inventory and supplies.
• Cook menu items with the support of the kitchen staff.

Skills and Qualifications

• Sunday availability required.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining a positive attitude
• In-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Aptitude for multi-tasking.
• Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background checks and reference checks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
