About the role

A Line Cook position in a kitchen environment where you will prepare and cook food according to established recipes and quality standards, maintain workstation cleanliness and organization, and ensure proper portioning, presentation, and consistency of all dishes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to established recipes and quality standards
• Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and consistency of all dishes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned work station
• Properly store, label, and handle food and ingredients
• Monitor inventory and report shortages or quality concerns to the supervisor
• Follow all kitchen safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
• Assist with general kitchen duties as needed

About you

• At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Line Cook or in a similar kitchen position
• Knowledgeable in food preparation, cooking techniques, portion control, and proper food handling
• Familiar with kitchen sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety standards
• Able to follow recipes, instructions, and standard operating procedures accurately
• Capable of working efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining food quality and presentation
• Reliable, hardworking, disciplined, and able to work well as part of a team
• Willing to work on weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts when required
