Line Cook

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to ensure that our guests enjoy high-quality dishes. Your attention to detail, ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and passion for the culinary arts will help create an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation: Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.

• Station Management: Manage your designated stations during service, including prepping ingredients and organizing workspace to maintain efficiency and cleanliness. Learn and master new stations and responsibilities quickly and with success.

• Quality Control: Monitor food quality and portion sizes, adhering to restaurant standards, and ensuring all dishes meet health and safety regulations.

• Collaboration: Work closely with other line cooks and kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure timely service during peak hours.

• Inventory Control: Assist in inventory management by tracking ingredient usage and reporting any shortages to the kitchen manager.

• Maintenance: Keep your workstation clean and organized throughout the shift, following proper sanitation practices to ensure a safe and healthy kitchen environment.

• Learning and Development: Continuously learn and improve cooking techniques and culinary skills under the guidance of the kitchen leadership team.

• Additional Duties: Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by management to ensure efficient restaurant operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation methods, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment is essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as our restaurant operates seven days a week.
• Commitment to following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
