Line Cook

Bergen Hall is a chef-driven kitchen focused on quality, scratch-made food. We take pride in our attention to detail, teamwork, and creating a great experience for both our guests and our team. We’re looking for a Line Cook to bring professionalism, precision, and passion to our kitchen. This is a nights and weekends position.

Responsibilities:

• Execute prep work and cook dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
• Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation align with company expectations
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff
• Assist in training and mentoring other line cooks
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to kitchen management
• Follow food safety and sanitation protocols to meet health department standards
• Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Be punctual and reliable, ensuring shifts are covered and service runs smoothly

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of line cook experience in a high-volume kitchen
• Ability to work nights and weekends
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment
• Ability to take direction and work independently when needed
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for food, quality, and consistency
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to multitask
• ServSafe certification (preferred but not required)
