Line Cook

Overview
We are seeking a Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards. This position requires a strong understanding of food handling and safety practices, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and equipment.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to management.
• Help train new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and cooking techniques.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
