The Valley Sports Grill at Richland Golf Club is looking for a dedicated team member who can be a great addition to our kitchen's transformation!

We're in the midst of an exciting total revamp, aiming to redefine our restaurant's identity and become a top dining destination for both our daily golfers and the entire Middletown community. We're firing up our smokers and pizza oven to deliver exceptional BBQ, delicious pizzas, and a fresh take on American classics.

This isn't just another kitchen job; it's a chance to be a key player in a rebuild and launch of a truly promising restaurant concept.

You'll be instrumental in establishing new standards and ensuring smooth, efficient service.

What You'll Do & How You'll Contribute:

*Execute Recipes Flawlessly: Consistently prepare all menu items to our new, high standards, ensuring every dish is perfect.

*Run a Station: Take ownership of your assigned station, managing prep, cooking, and cleanliness during service.

*Utilize Downtime Effectively: Proactively use slower periods for cleaning, and preparing for busy shifts.

*Follow Direction & Recipes: Adhere strictly to established recipes and instructions to ensure consistency and quality.

*Contribute to Efficiency: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve kitchen flow.

*Train & Support: Potentially assist in training less experienced staff or interns, helping to build a strong kitchen team.

*Maintain Cleanliness & Safety: Uphold the highest standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety.

Who We're Looking For:

●Proven Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience as a line cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

●Eagerness to Learn & Grow: A desire to refine your skills and expand your knowledge under a chef's mentorship.

●Strong Work Ethic & Reliability: You're dependable, punctual, and consistently deliver high-quality work.

●Attention to Detail: You care about the little things that make a big difference in a dish.

●Ability to Follow Instructions: Crucial for maintaining the consistency we're striving for.

●Problem-Solver: You can think on your feet and react calmly under pressure.

●Team Player: Positive attitude and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.

●Flexible Availability: Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
