Line Cook

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team for seasonal or year-round employment. Candidates should possess basic culinary skills including knife handling, food preparation, cooking techniques, cleanliness, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Flexible scheduling is available, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Full-time and part-time positions available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, grills, ovens, and fryers.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Proficiency in knife skills and various cooking techniques.
• Experience in the food service industry, particularly within a restaurant environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining individual accountability.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
