Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Line Cook to support daily kitchen operations at Dapper D’s Cheesesteaks. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing menu items to brand standards, maintaining cleanliness, and working efficiently during high-volume service. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook cheesesteaks and menu items according to Dapper D’s recipes and standards
• Maintain proper portioning, presentation, and consistency on every order
• Set up and break down station before and after service
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
• Assist with food prep, stocking, and inventory rotation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
• Communicate effectively with kitchen teammates and management
• Support team members during peak service periods

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or line cook experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and follow kitchen procedures
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
