Line Cook

Be a part of something new in Downtown Jax! Pour Taproom is looking for dependable, hardworking team members to join our kitchen staff. This is a versatile back-of-house position that may include line cooking, food prep, dishwashing, cleaning, and general kitchen support based on business needs.

We are looking for team players who take pride in their work, move with urgency, and help create a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
• Complete daily food prep tasks
• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, dish area, and storage areas
• Properly receive, rotate, label, and store food products
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with opening, closing, and cleaning duties
• Support fellow team members during busy service periods
• Take direction from kitchen leadership and work independently when needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a line cook is required
• FL Food Handler or ServSafe certified (or willing to complete within 30 days)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay: $16.50 - $19.50 per hour
