Line Cook

White Horse Wood Fired Grill is looking for an experienced, dependable line cook who knows how to handle the heat.

We need someone who can move with purpose, stay organized when the tickets start flying and consistently put out food they’re proud to serve. This is a full-time PM position for someone who thrives in a busy kitchen, communicates with their team and understands that showing up matters.

If you have solid kitchen experience, a strong work ethic and the ability to keep your cool during a slammed dinner service, you may be exactly the badass we’re looking for.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to White Horse recipes and quality standards
• Work grill, fryer, sauté and other assigned stations safely and efficiently
• Maintain speed, accuracy and consistency during high-volume service
• Set up, stock and break down your station properly
• Keep workstations, equipment and cooking areas clean and organized
• Follow food-safety, sanitation and cross-contamination procedures
• Communicate with the kitchen team to keep service moving
• Complete assigned prep, opening and closing duties
• Jump in and support the team when needed

• Proven experience working in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen
• Dependability, punctuality and consistent attendance
• Strong knife skills and safe equipment-handling practices
• The ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent quality
• A sense of urgency without sacrificing accuracy
• Clear communication and a team-first attitude
• The ability to stay focused and productive under pressure
• Full-time PM availability
• Open availability is strongly preferred
• Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays
