Line Cook

The Line Cook provides essential support to the kitchen team by performing a variety of food preparation, cleaning, organization, and kitchen support tasks. This role helps ensure the kitchen remains clean, organized, properly stocked, and prepared for efficient daily service.

The Line Cook follows established recipes, food preparation procedures, and safety standards while maintaining a high level of cleanliness and sanitation. This position contributes directly to smooth kitchen operations, consistent food quality, operational efficiency, and a safe, professional working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients as directed.
• Stock and replenish kitchen stations with necessary supplies, utensils, and equipment.
• Help with dishwashing, pot washing, and general kitchen cleanup during and after service.
• Transport food, supplies, and equipment between storage areas, refrigerators, and workstations.
• Perform opening, closing, and side-work duties as assigned by supervisors.
• Maintain exceptional cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen surfaces, floors, equipment, sinks, and storage areas.
• Follow proper cleaning and sanitizing procedures for tools, cutting boards, and food-contact surfaces.
• Practice safe food handling to prevent cross-contamination between raw and ready-to-eat foods.
• Dispose of waste, recyclables, and grease properly according to restaurant and local guidelines.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
