Line Cook — Midtown Sacramento Restaurant/Bar

$20–$21 hour | Part-Time & Full-Time Opportunities

We are looking for dependable, experienced line cooks to join a fast-paced restaurant/bar kitchen in Midtown Sacramento. We’re seeking team members who take pride in consistency, cleanliness, teamwork and providing quality food during both regular and high-volume service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes, portions and presentation standards
• Operate fryers, flat-top, stovetop, ovens and other commercial kitchen equipment safely
• Set up, stock and maintain an organized station throughout service
• Execute multiple tickets efficiently during high-volume periods
• Follow proper food-handling, temperature-control, cross-contamination and sanitation procedures
• Communicate with kitchen staff and expo to keep orders accurate and moving on time
• Monitor station inventory and communicate low product before items run out
• Follow portion standards and minimize food waste
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout service
• Complete assigned opening, closing and cleaning duties
• Assist with prep and other kitchen responsibilities as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Previous restaurant/commercial-kitchen experience preferred
• Fryer and line experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen
• Able to follow standardized recipes and maintain consistency
• Strong food-safety and sanitation habits
• Reliable, punctual and communicative
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Evening and weekend availability preferred
• California Food Handler Card or ability to obtain one as required
• Reliable transportation to Midtown Sacramento

Pay & Opportunity

• $20–$21/hour based on experience
