Position Overview

Cafe Airlie is seeking a dependable and motivated Line Cook to support daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will prepare quality meals, follow food safety standards, and work efficiently with the kitchen team to deliver a great dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes
• Maintain consistent food quality, taste, and presentation
• Set up and organize the cooking station before service
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures
• Monitor food temperatures and portion sizes
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
• Assist with inventory, restocking, and food preparation
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during busy service periods

Qualifications

• Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of cooking methods and food preparation
• Ability to follow recipes and kitchen instructions
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, organized, and attentive to detail
• Flexible availability, including weekends
