Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, demonstrating skills in meal preparation, food safety, and kitchen operations. This position requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food handling practices.

Duties

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients using proper knife skills.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Ensure all food safety standards are met by following proper food handling procedures.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and assist where needed.
• Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Support dietary aides in providing meals that meet specific dietary needs.

Skills

• Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant
• Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary practices.
