Line Cook

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team at Cheeky Tiki. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in the success of our team and business. You'll be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring food quality and presentation standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace.

Duties:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
• Ensure that food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Assist with the cleaning and organization of the kitchen and work areas.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create new dishes and menu items.
• Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role in a restaurant or catering setting.
• Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
