Line Cook

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the kitchen, assisting with meal preparation and ensuring that our dishes meet the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong understanding of food preparation techniques, contributing to an efficient and organized kitchen environment.

Duties

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
• Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and ensuring dishes are prepared to specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, ovens, grills, and fryers.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during busy periods.
• Participate in menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas.
• Adhere to food safety standards and hygiene practices at all times.
