Key Responsibilities

1. Station Mastery & Prep

Mise en Place: Execute daily prep lists with efficiency, ensuring your station is fully stocked and organized before service begins.

Manual Adherence: Follow exact recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications to maintain consistency across every shift.

2. High-Volume Execution

The Rush: Prepare menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff to ensure all plates for a table arrive hot and synchronized.

Quality Control: Visually inspect every ingredient and finished plate for freshness, temperature, and plating excellence.

3. Safety & Sanitation

HACCP Compliance: Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation throughout the shift, adhering to all food safety and health department regulations.

Equipment Care: Properly operate and maintain kitchen equipment (grills, fryers, sauté burners) and report any maintenance needs immediately.

4. Teamwork & Communication

"Call Backs": Maintain clear, professional communication with the Sous Chef and Front-of-House (FOH) staff to ensure smooth service.

Flexibility: Assist team members on other stations during peaks or lulls to ensure the kitchen operates as a single, cohesive unit.
