About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join the culinary team at ZC KINGS MANPOWER COOPERATIVE in Tagaytay City, Cavite. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our kitchen operations, where you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes and maintaining exceptional food standards. As a Line Cook, you will work within a fast-paced kitchen environment, contributing directly to the dining experience of our guests and supporting the overall success of our hospitality operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your assigned station throughout each shift
• Monitor food quality and consistency, ensuring all dishes meet company standards before service
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff, chefs and waitstaff to ensure efficient order completion and timely service
• Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment
• Receive and respond to feedback from the head chef or kitchen manager regarding food quality and preparation techniques
• Manage inventory at your station and report when supplies need replenishment
• Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, marinating and cooking components in advance of service
• Adapt quickly to menu changes and special requests during service
• Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude in a demanding kitchen setting

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a Line Cook or in a similar kitchen role within a hospitality establishment
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods and kitchen equipment operation
• Excellent understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods whilst performing repetitive tasks
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays as required
• A genuine passion for culinary excellence and commitment to delivering quality meals
• Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous
• Experience with Filipino cuisine or Asian cooking styles is preferred
