Line Cook

The Role:
Line Cooks are responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of menu items while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in the culinary field and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Compensation:

$20.25 to $24 (+ tips)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion, and presentation standards
• Assist all other kitchen staff as needed
• We all wash dishes and maintain a clean, sanitized work environment
• Complete opening, closing, and side tasks thoroughly and accurately
• Follow all food safety, handling, and sanitation procedures
• Adapt to new tasks, menu changes, or responsibilities as needed
• Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency
• Be able to adapt to new tasks as needed.
• Be able to lift at least 60 lbs.
• Be able to stand for most of 8 hours.

Not required but a plus:

• Food and beverage experience.
• Open availability.
• Bilingual in English and any other language.
• Leadership experience a plus – we promote from within!
