Line Cook

Cleaverman Steakhouse is hiring Line Cooks to join our culinary team in downtown Phoenix.

We’re looking for cooks who take pride in their work, stay organized during busy service, and care about the quality of every plate. As a Line Cook, you’ll prepare and execute Cleaverman’s menu while working closely with the chefs and the rest of the kitchen team.

Duties

• Set up and stock your station with the ingredients and equipment needed for service.
• Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
• Check seasoning, temperature, and doneness to ensure consistent quality.
• Communicate clearly with chefs, expo, and other cooks to keep service running smoothly.
• Properly label, date, store, and rotate ingredients.
• Maintain a clean, organized station and follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with daily prep, special events, and closing duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook experience in a professional kitchen preferred.
• Steakhouse, fine dining, or high-volume restaurant experience is a plus.
• Strong knife skills and a working knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to follow recipes, manage multiple orders, and maintain quality under pressure.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working as part of a team.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
