DiGusto Ristorante Italiano is a family-owned Italian fine dining restaurant in Naples, FL. We are looking for an experienced and dependable Line Cook to join our kitchen team.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, understands the importance of consistency and presentation, and can work efficiently in a busy professional kitchen.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to DiGusto’s recipes and standards
• Work efficiently and accurately during busy dinner service
• Maintain consistent quality, portion control and presentation
• Set up and stock your station before service
• Maintain a clean, organized and properly stocked workstation throughout service
• Communicate effectively with the Chef and other kitchen team members
• Follow tickets accurately and maintain proper timing
• Assist with daily prep and kitchen organization
• Properly store, label and date food products
• Follow all food safety, sanitation and HACCP procedures
• Help with closing duties and maintaining a clean kitchen

Qualifications:

• Previous line cook experience required
• Italian cuisine experience is a strong plus
• Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
• Good knowledge of basic cooking techniques
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
• Reliable, punctual and professional
• Ability to stand for extended period
• Food Handler certification preferred
• Must be available for weekends and holidays as needed
