Line Cook

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our recipes and standards. Your expertise in the kitchen and passion for food will contribute to creating a memorable dining experience for our customers.

Duties:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
• Cook meals according to recipes and portion sizes
• Ensure food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and meets quality standards
• Plate dishes with attention to detail and presentation
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation of meals
• Maintain a clean and organized work station
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a professional kitchen or culinary environment
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
• Ability to handle knives and other kitchen tools safely
• Strong understanding of food safety practices
• Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient meal preparation
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail for plating and presentation
