Line Cook

Job Summary
D.P. Dough is seeking a dependable Line Cook to prepare menu items efficiently while maintaining consistent food quality, proper portions, and a clean kitchen. The position is suited for someone who can stay organized and productive during busy evening and late-night service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook pizzas, calzones, sides, and other menu items.
• Set up and maintain the cooking station before each shift.
• Follow recipes, preparation methods, and portion standards.
• Monitor cooking times and food quality.
• Prepare ingredients and restock the line as needed.
• Keep food products stored, labeled, and rotated properly.
• Follow food-safety and sanitation requirements.
• Clean cooking equipment and workstations throughout the shift.
• Communicate with other kitchen team members during busy periods.
• Help with opening, closing, and kitchen cleanup duties.
• Maintain an efficient workflow during high-volume orders.

Qualifications

• Previous line-cook or restaurant kitchen experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and safe cooking practices.
• Able to work quickly while maintaining accuracy.
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working late shifts.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

D.P. Dough is a fast-casual restaurant known for calzones, pizza, wings, salads, and other late-night menu options. The Boise location is at 1265 S Capitol Blvd and operates extended evening and overnight hours.

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 33.0 per week
