Duties

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to ensure food safety and efficiency
• Assist with menu planning by suggesting innovative ideas and seasonal specials
• Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination
• Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food with attention to detail
• Ensure all food is cooked thoroughly, properly seasoned, and presented attractively
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service environments
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
• Experience working in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is a plus
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service
• Familiarity with menu planning, catering, and serving processes within the food industry
