Line Cook

Bar Purlieu, a small, independently owned bistro, is looking for a line cook to join our kitchen team. We focus on seasonality, teamwork, hospitality, and having fun. We’re seeking someone reliable, organized, team focused and enthusiastic about making great food.

Responsibilities include prep, working the line during service, and maintaining a clean, organized station. We would like to see candidates who have grill, cold station and ideally 2+ years experience on sauté along with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn. We reward hard work and reliability, and there is always potential for leadership roles and growth within the company.

The position is approximately 4 days a week from 1pm to 10 to 10:30 pm, although day to day hours will vary depending upon business needs. Expect 35 hours a week.

Pay is dependent upon experience. Back of house tips are 7% of food sales and range between $7 and $10 an hour.
