We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all dishes meet our standards for taste and presentation. Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Assist in the development of new menu items and seasonal offerings.
• Ensure all food safety protocols are followed, including proper storage and handling of ingredients.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances.
• Help train new kitchen staff on procedures and best practices within the culinary department.

Experience

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred, particularly in roles such as Line Cook or Dietary Aide.
• Familiarity with catering services is a plus, as well as experience working in a dietary department.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is essential.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
