Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure freshness and quality
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including food storage areas and cooking stations
• Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
• Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food with efficiency and consistency
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service environments
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
• Experience working in fine dining or restaurant settings is highly desirable
• Knowledge of dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is a plus
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers
• Experience with menu planning, catering, and serving is advantageous
