Responsibilities/Tasks

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Maintain a standard of cleanliness in kitchen and food service areas
• Preparing ingredients such as chopping vegetables, portioning meats and measuring seasonings
• Operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Monitoring food quality and notifying supervisors of shortages or issues
• Restocking ingredients and supplies during service periods
• Assisting with opening and closing kitchen procedures
