Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and ensuring that the kitchen operates efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in fine dining or catering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
• Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages.
• Participate in menu planning and development as needed.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Proficient in kitchen techniques, including knife skills and food handling.
• Experience in meal preparation for restaurants or catering services.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with fine dining standards is preferred.
