Line Cook

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled line cook to join our culinary team. As a line cook you will assist in the preparation of breakfast and lunch items, as well as weekly specials. Attention to detail and knowledge of food safety guidelines is essential for this position. Must be able to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner for service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
• Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours.

Skills

• Proven experience in meal preparation and cooking within a restaurant or food industry setting.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Proficiency in various cooking techniques and methods, including knife skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.
