Vincent’s Italian Cuisine is looking for an experienced, dependable Line Cook to join our kitchen team.

Serving the New Orleans area since 1989, Vincent’s was once again voted Best Italian Restaurant in New Orleans this year — an honor we’ve received nearly every year for the past two decades.

That reputation has been built one plate and one guest at a time, and our kitchen team is a huge part of it.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Line Cook at Vincent’s, you’ll help prepare and execute our dishes consistently and efficiently during service.

Responsibilities include:

• Setting up and maintaining your station
• Preparing menu items according to Vincent’s recipes and standards
• Working sauté, grill, fry, pasta, or other stations depending on experience
• Maintaining quality and consistency during busy services
• Keeping your station clean, organized, and properly stocked
• Following food safety and sanitation standards
• Communicating and working with the rest of the kitchen team
• Assisting with prep, opening, and closing responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience
• Shows up on time and is dependable
• Takes pride in putting out great food
• Can stay organized and composed during a busy service
• Understands the importance of consistency
• Works well as part of a team
• Keeps a clean and organized station
• Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn
• Can work nights and weekends as needed

Italian cooking experience is a plus, but it is not required. Reliability, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are more important to us.

Job Type: Part Time to start with Full-time potential based on perfromance
Pay: $18-$22 per hour, based on experience
Expected Hours: 12-25 per week
Location: Vincent’s Italian Cuisine – Metairie, LA

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 30.0 per week
