Line Cook

About the Role

Encore Brewing is looking for a motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. We’re a fast-paced, high-volume brewery and restaurant, and we need cooks who can execute consistently, stay organized, and thrive during rushes.

You’ll be working closely with the Head Chef and the rest of our culinary team to deliver high-quality food that’s prepared on time, to spec, and with pride.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and station standards
• Set up, maintain, and close down assigned stations
• Ensure food is properly labelled, rotated, and stored
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
• Assist with prep duties as required
• Communicate clearly with BOH and FOH teams
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
• Work efficiently during high-volume periods and coordinate timing with the team

Requirements

• Experience working on a line in a restaurant kitchen (preferred)
• Strong understanding of food handling and safety procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good knife skills
• Team-oriented, reliable, and able to take direction
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays

Schedule

• 25-30 hours per week
• Shifts include evenings and weekends
• Opportunity for additional hours during peak seasons
