Line Cook

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook for our pizza kitchen at Getaway Brewing (sister brewery of Seventh Son Brewing). The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of appetizers, salads, pizzas, and more in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
• Assist in cooking and preparing menu items according to set recipes
• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Monitor stock levels and communicate with the Kitchen Manager when ingredients are running low

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or relevant role
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• Understanding of food safety practices
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Culinary school diploma is a plus but not required
• Must be 21 years old to apply

Pay Range: $18-21

• Food industry: 1 year (Required)
• ServSafe Certified
