Line Cook

**THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION ONLY, GREAT SECOND JOB!**

-Pay depending on prior kitchen experience. The more experience, the higher your pay.

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.

• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)

• Cook food in various utensils or grillers/fryers/ovens.

• Ensure great presentation.

• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen (clean out grease traps, take out trash, sanitize all items as necessary).

• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly keeping high quality of ingredients.

Keep manager/head cook informed of any inventory concerns

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Skills:

• • Knowledge of food safety

• Serv Safe food handler certification (will be required if not already completed)

• Proficient with POS system Toast (will have on site training available)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
