We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including utensils and equipment.
• Assist with meal preparation for catering events as needed.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Adhere to proper knife handling techniques and maintain equipment in good working condition.
• Participate in training sessions to improve cooking skills and knowledge of food handling practices.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques, including meal preparation and cooking methods.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling ingredients.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• A passion for culinary arts and a willingness to learn new skills in the kitchen.
