About the Position We are looking for a reliable, experienced, and passionate Chef to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality food, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and helping ensure a great dining experience for our guests. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation Assist with menu preparation and daily kitchen operations Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards Monitor food inventory and minimize food waste Assist with ordering and receiving kitchen supplies when required Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen Work efficiently during busy service periods Follow all food safety and workplace health and safety procedures Work cooperatively with kitchen and front-of-house staff Qualifications Previous experience working as a Chef, Cook, or in a professional kitchen Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good organizational and time-management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Food Handler Certification is an asset Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required What We Offer $20.00 per hour 30–40 hours per week Flexible scheduling A friendly and supportive team environment Opportunity for additional hours based on business needs Opportunity to grow within the restaurant
