Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Assist with menu planning and ingredient preparation to ensure efficient kitchen operations
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times, adhering to proper food handling procedures
• Support food service operations by plating dishes quickly and accurately during busy service hours
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen workflow and timely meal delivery
• Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
• Contribute to catering events and special functions, ensuring high-quality meal presentation

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or culinary environment
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
• Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus
• Experience with menu planning, catering, and fine dining settings enhances your candidacy
• Excellent understanding of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting
• Strong teamwork, communication skills, and a positive attitude toward serving guests

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
