Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work station following food safety protocols
• Assist in menu planning by providing input on dish presentation and ingredient selection
• Execute food preparation tasks efficiently during busy service hours to ensure timely delivery
• Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and portioning of ingredients
• Support catering events and special functions with quality meal preparation and presentation
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and uphold high standards of food quality

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within the food industry
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
• Experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Background in restaurant or fine dining environments demonstrating attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving guests
