Line cook

About the Job

We are a busy restaurant looking for a line cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and cook food from our menu. This is a good job for someone who already has kitchen experience and wants maximum career growth!

Your Main Tasks

• Get your station ready before service: cut vegetables, prepare meat, and make sauces

• Cook orders correctly and on time using the grill, stove, fryer, and oven

• Follow our recipes so every dish tastes and looks the same

• Check that food is stored at the right temperature and labeled with dates

• Keep your station clean during and after your shift

• Tell the head cook when supplies are running low

• Help other cooks when the kitchen gets busy

What You Need

• At least 1 year of work in a restaurant kitchen

• Use kitchen tools safely, like knives, grills, fryers, and mixers

• Basic cooking skills, like chopping, frying, grilling, and boiling

• Food safety and how to keep the kitchen clean

• Experience in a fast-paced restaurant
