JOB SUMMARY

The Line Cook is a core member of the production kitchen team responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating food items at a designated station during service. This role demands speed, precision, recipe adherence, and the ability to perform consistently under the pressures of a busy service environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete all assigned mise en place tasks before service: chopping, portioning, saucing, garnishing.
• Ensure all tools, utensils, and equipment are clean, functional, and in position.
• Review the day's menu, specials, and any modifications communicated at the pre-service briefing.
• Cook and produce all assigned dishes to recipe specification, portion size, and presentation standard.
• Operate station equipment (grill, fryer, oven, sauté pan, etc.) safely and efficiently.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to work accurately under service pressure
• Good communication within the kitchen team
• Attention to detail in portioning and presentation
• Culinary diploma or vocational cooking training preferred; TESDA NC II an advantage. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply!
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
