Line Cook

Job Summary
The Hotel Indigo is looking for culinary team members to join the Hotel Indigo in opening a from scratch, Master Chef inspired menu and dining experience. we are looking for breakfast cooks, line cooks, prep cook, an executive chef and more.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
• Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for seasonal dishes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations
• Handle food products safely, ensuring proper storage and handling techniques are followed
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed
• Participate in catering events, preparing meals for off-site services when required
• Uphold high standards of quality in food presentation and taste

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in the food industry
• Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation
• Familiarity with from scratch cooking with a focus on detail and consistency
• Experience in fine dining establishments preferred
• Excellent knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
• Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable
