Position Summary

We are looking for a reliable, motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is essential to daily operations and ideal for someone who enjoys working in a high-energy environment, takes pride in their work, and wants to grow in the restaurant industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Fuji’s recipes and quality standards
• Assist with food prep, portioning, and plating during service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Work efficiently with the kitchen team to ensure timely service
• Assist with restocking, cleaning, and closing duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
• Knowledge of Japanese cuisine is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
