Line Cook

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of culinary techniques. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Follow food safety protocols, including proper food handling and storage practices.
• Assist in the inventory management of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
• Participate in catering events as needed, providing meal preparation support.
• Adhere to dietary department guidelines when preparing meals for special dietary needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food service industry.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and meal presentation.
• Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences.
• Experience in catering or dietary aide roles is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $17.50 per hour
