Line Cook

Job Overview
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality hot and cold sandwiches, and specialty items in a fast-paced deli environment. The ideal candidate has a experience in a fast paced environment and thrives working as part of a busy kitchen crew.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to order, including hot paninis, sauces, and daily specials, following established recipes and presentation standards.
• Manage prep work for the line, including slicing meats and cheeses, portioning ingredients, and prepping fresh vegetables.
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently (grills, fryers, slicers, and panini presses).
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation throughout the shift, adhering to all food safety regulations.
• Assist with receiving and stocking kitchen deliveries, ensuring proper rotation of ingredients (FIFO).
• Collaborate with counter staff and fellow cooks to ensure timely and accurate ticket fulfillment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: 1–2 years of experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or Short Order Cook
• Culinary Skills: Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques, knife skills, and food safety standards.
• Speed & Stamina: Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
• Team Player: Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Flexibility: Availability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
