Overview

This is a full time back of house position in a fast paced restaurant in Downtown Ellensburg, attached to the Hotel Windrow. We're looking for anyone with a strong work ethic, and a passion for food & hospitality, and who is looking to be part of a dedicated team.

Our restaurant features an open kitchen concept in a newly renovated, and highly trafficked location in the downtown core. We serve an innovative menu with a strong focus on Japanese-style Ramen elevated by modern Western influences, alongside diverse noodle dishes, and a sharable Izakaya-style small plates menu.

We aim to create a social gathering space, vibrant, warm and familiar, with effortless ambiance and good vibes for locals, university students, and passing guest alike.

The Gig

• Job Title: Line Cook
• Location: Downtown Ellensburg, WA
• Hours: Part-time or Full-Time(20-38 hours/week) working 3-5 days, with flexibility for student class schedules and other part time obligations.
• Start Date: ASAP
• Initial Shifts: Restaurant hours are betweemn 12:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Opening and closing shift will average 6-8 hours, with longer 10-12 hour open-to-close shifts available to those who request/require/desire them.
• Pay: Starting, but not capped at, 17.25/hour with a consistent and high yielding full staff tip pool program. All wages direct deposited every 2 weeks.

What You'll Be Doing

• Cooking on a fast-paced, detail-oriented, high yield kitchen line, and in food preparation relying on consistent production of long-cook, temperature controlled bone broths, smoking proteins and bar components, vegetable and sauce preparation, and in house poultry butchery.
• Working well with a team of passionate and energetic people to ensure a high level of quality, consistency, and experience for our guests.
• Maintaining high personal standards of safety and cleanliness.
• Helping to promote an inclusive, supportive, and fun work environment for fellow staff
