Line Cook

Job Summary

Riverside Restaurant & Bar is looking for a dependable and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to preparing high-quality meals while maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
• Set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Ensure food is prepared accurately and presented consistently.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff.
• Assist with receiving, rotating, and storing food deliveries.
• Help with kitchen cleaning duties and closing procedures.
• Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
